Sudbourne Park Printmakers is a community of artists made up of enthusiastic printmakers with a wide range of experience in different techniques.
Professional facilities are available for members to develop their skills in etching and relief printing. It is an environment that encourages the sharing of knowledge and ideas between members and includes technical support to ensure the safe running of the workshop.
Members attend the workshop on supervised days, either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, for one day a week over 3 ten week terms. In addition, members have the opportunity to use the facilities on unsupervised days when they have gained the required level of competence in printmaking and safety issues.
There is also the opportunity to exhibit in group exhibitions in Aldeburgh at Easter and the workshop at Christmas along with other venues from time to time.
We limit the number of members to 30 to allow for space to work and we aim to balance etchers with relief printers to avoid a queue at the presses.
If you would like to register your interest in becoming a member or would like more information on membership please contact Chrissy Norman, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Would-be members should have mastered the basic printmaking techniques, preferably by attending one or more of our 2 day workshops. You will need to be committed to the group and fit in with our ethos of developing ideas and sharing tasks and knowledge. We would also like to see a portfolio of your work.
